Easily avoidable, but still kind of off putting. Also, it is a bit gimmicky, linking you to the pages of the movies so you can buy the DVDs. The only downfall is that there does seem to be a split second lag when tapping the screen to flip your flippers it doesn’t change no matter how well my phone was running, which meant I had to compensate for it to hit the ball exactly where I wanted. The Platoon board seems to be the most difficult Navy Seals is easy to get a high score on and Missing in Action is somewhere in between. The game plays smoothly and the more you play, the more you’ll get a feel for each board. They feature music and sound effects from the movies themselves, which if you’ve seen any of them, adds to the fun. They all have their own goals and special bonus points and each takes some time to master. Each board has its own style, some with multiple flippers, some with just the classic two. There are 3 tables you can choose from, all based on 3 different war movies Platoon, Missing In Action (with a Chuck Norris model and everything) and Navy Seals. Turns out, there was more to than just a fun pinball game on my Android. War Pinball HD was my first choice, as it seemed the one to have the most realistic graphics. and hopefully putting a fire under the seats of these other company’s to try to push the envelope and give zen a run for their money, otherwise I fear it’ll be stagnant… been a long time since zen added some tables outside of the 3 or 4 most recent Star Wars themed tables… I want some new ones lol.It’s not every day you find a good pinball game and being in a pinball craze lately, I’ve wanted to find an app that would give me the feeling of an actual machine, without me wasting a ton of quarters. So you don’t have to be annoyed with the adds and the app houses tons of tables you can pay for but all versions always have one table that comes with the zen pinball app. (star wars, Fox, Universal studios, Bethesda Games, as well as zens own originals and the recreated real life tables they have from Williams pinball) All other pinball games from any other company (and I’ve tried a ton of them) are light years behind the men and women at zen pinball… if you wana play pinball you should only be even consider a zen table. All of the games from zen pinball, especially the zen pinball games ever since they did the Marvel and any after that time have a truly realistic feel and movement and behavior. Lol all the pinball games made from this company have extraordinarily unrealistic physics recreation.
