Please note that the UK has specifically been stricter about collecting VAT since the Olympics, and they state you "will have to pay import VAT on goods with a value that exceeds £15". Please check that the items you would like are not prohibited for shipment to your country: Ĭustoms fees/duty taxes/VAT (Value Added Tax) are the buyer's responsibility, generally Etsy now collects them during checkout but you should be aware if they don't, that your own government will contact you about their fees on your order. There are occasions when tracking doesn't show, but that doesn't mean the package hasn't been mailed or that it hasn't left the USA. When you see that in the tracking info, you know the package has left the USA. When our packages leave the USA, they leave through either JAMAICA, NY or ISC NEW YORK NY. The speed with which they travel once they leave the US is out of our hands-delays are usually as a package traveling through customs in the destination country. Packages generally leave the US within 2 days of mailing. While packages can arrive as quickly as 7 days, they often take 2 to 3 weeks and can take as long as 6 weeks to arrive. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING-via US Postal Service: If you prefer not to pay the additional fees we'll refund your money as soon as possible, usually within 48 hours (unless our banner or avatar has away notices). Since it is handled with extra care the package may take longer than normal to deliver. Someone will need to sign for the package for it to be delivered. If we have had issues with items going missing/being stolen from or any other delivery problems to your shipping address during a past transaction & you are outside the USA, we will bill you an additional $15 and your package will be sent via "Registered Mail". The shipping status on Etsy is not automatically updated for most packages therefore it does not necessarily reflect accurately on the shipping date. We will occasionally ship on Wednesday (when Monday is a postal holiday) or Saturday instead of Tuesday or Friday depending on order loads and scheduling. If you need your weekend order shipped on Monday, please select one of the upgrades with "RUSH handling" once you have the item in your shopping cart. Weekend orders are processed & packaged on Monday, and mailed out on Tuesday so we can spend time with our family on the weekend.
